Just wanted to update you all quickly regarding what the team are working on, as I've noted a few posts from people suggesting that we will be dropping support for the game now that the 1st patch/TU and DLC has been released. Please be assured that this is not the case and that we continue to remain fully committed to supporting the game on all formats post-launch.

Currently the team is dedicated to working on a 2nd patch/TU, and whilst the release date is still TBA, the good news is that this 2nd patch/title update will be a significant update and will address a wide variety of issues for SP and MP across the board.

While the the 1st patch/TU was primarily put out to address priority issues immediately affecting the quality of the game, the upcoming 2nd patch/TU will contain a much greater number of fixes and hopefully satisfy everyone’s needs.

also es wird endgültig und definitiv keine dedi server geben.

ausserdem zieht sich die ofp.info community zurück und will ein neues projekt aufbauen.

somit ist OFP: DR endgültig der strom ausgegangen, obwohl der stecker schon lang draußen war

Auch L4D + L4D2 hat ein MatchMaking System wie OFP, aber ein selbstentwickeltes und nicht aus dem Putzschrank der Putzfrau fertig gekauftes, das einen feinen Unterschied zum OFP MMS hat, es gibt im Matchmaking System Dedicated Server VALVE Rules
